The Greek Yachting Association presents the first Virtual Charter Show worldwide!
In September of 2020, the Mediterranean Yacht Show will be introduced, for the first time ever, in virtual form!
The cancellation of the 2020 Mediterranean Yacht Show (MEDYS) was a difficult and unpleasant decision for us and one that left a void on many levels. In the six years during which it has taken place in the port of Nafplion, the MEDYS has become one of the most anticipated B2B events of its kind, the largest charter show worldwide and is recognised for the unique manner in which it brings charter professionals together. So we decided do something about it.
In September of 2020, the MEDYS will be presented, for the first time ever in virtual form, via a specially designed platform of the organisation’s official website www.mediterraneanyachtshow.gr . The Greek Yachting Association (GYA) has decided to support the superyacht sector and yachting in our country, as well as the vital relationships between professionals in the field, by creating the first ever Virtual Charter Show.
The port of Nafplion will “come alive” on-screen with an impressive fleet of motor yachts, sailing yachts and motor sailors in position and ready to receive the virtual visits of interested brokers from all over the world. Through this particularly user-friendly platform, each user will be able to enjoy a virtual tour of the participating yachts, be informed about the full spectrum of services and options that they offer, and come into direct contact with Central Agents for all charter-related information.
The MEDYS, which is one the most significant events on the international yachting calendar, is organised by the GYA with the participation of a plethora of yachting agencies and showcases some of the finest yachts available for charter in Greece and the Eastern Mediterranean. It has been an important business tool and a source of valuable information for charter brokers and it would have been a shame for it to be missing from your 2020 agenda in some form.
The 7th Mediterranean Yacht Show will take place from the 22nd to the 25th of April 2021 in the port of Nafplion, organised by the Greek Yachting Association and with the invaluable cooperation and support of the Municipality of Nafplion.
