Dear friends and colleagues,

As President of the Greek Yachting Association, I am delighted to invite you to the 4th Mediterranean Yacht Show, which will be held in Nafplion, Greece from 29th April to 2nd May 2017.

It is very rewarding for all of us at the Greek Yachting Association, who are actively involved in the organisation of the event, to see that international brokers have firmly placed the Mediterranean Yacht Show on their calendar of not-to-be-missed events. A record number of more than 300 yacht brokers, from all corners of the globe, arrived at last year’s show to view 75 crewed luxury yachts, while several industries were present to exhibit their services. The event was also attended by representatives of MYBA, The Worldwide Yachting Association. The show continues to be held under the auspices of the Ministry of Tourism, with the kind assistance of the Municipality of Nafplion.

This year’s event is expected to be bigger and better than ever, providing the opportunity for visitors to appraise some of the finest yachts on the market. It is also the ideal setting in which to be informed about the latest developments in the yachting industry and to make new contacts. A rich programme has been planned for the five day event, which includes cocktail parties and on-board events, as well as the increasingly popular chef’s competition.

This annual gathering is a fine opportunity to showcase the impressive collection of EU flagged luxury crewed yachts available for charter in Greece and the Mediterranean. It also highlights our country as a leading destination for those who seek an exceptional yachting experience, in a land known for its safe waters, warm hospitality and rich cultural heritage.

Only when one embarks on a journey in Greek waters can they begin to appreciate all that this particular area of the Mediterranean has to offer in terms of its variety of idyllic locations waiting to be discovered, its superb clear waters and its natural beauty. Luxury yacht owners can expect excellent services and facilities and it serves as a hub for those who want to charter one of the best crewed vessels in the world.

It will be our pleasure to see you there.
